Alongside this, technological advances are changing the way that training is delivered. Virtual reality (VR) is an immersive way of enhancing training effectiveness and engagement with attendees which is being adopted across many industries, including unconscious bias training.
Offering training delegates the opportunity to virtually put them themselves into someone else’s shoes, VR is a useful tool to highlight the racism, sexism or discrimination faced by disabled people for example, in an engaging way to support unconscious bias training.
